Nidaros Running Festival is an annual event held at Skansen in Trondheim, offering one of the country's fastest and most spectacular race courses along the fjord. The 5 km and 10 km courses are flat with some short inclines, providing participants with a great experience as they sprint past the silos. In addition to the main races, there is also a children's race of 500 m, making this a family-friendly celebration for all running enthusiasts.
Highlights
- Our course is definitely one of the fastest in the country, and it doesn't hurt that it's also spectacular – as it runs along the promenade by the fjord.
- The routes run along the lake towards Brattøra, turn around, and make a loop out to Ila before leading to a nice final stretch along the silos to the finish line.
- The running festival typically brings together the best runners in the circuit, but it is also a recreational race for everyone.
